BERITAKINI.CO.ID — Polestar is preparing to exit the American market, yet the Swedish automaker continues to build stylish, performance-focused EVs. Its newest model makes that clear.
The Polestar 4 turned heads when it debuted in 2023, largely because it had no rear window. That changes now. As of Wednesday, a more traditional version with a proper rear window has arrived—and it looks suspiciously like a station wagon.
Polestar 4 SUV: Familiar Performance, New Shape
Officially named the Polestar 4 SUV, the fresh body style targets improved versatility. The fundamentals stay intact, though.
It rides on the same SEA architecture and 100 kWh battery as the Polestar 4 coupe-SUV. Buyers receive two powertrain options: a dual-motor all-wheel-drive version delivers 544 horsepower and 505 lb-ft of torque, while the single-motor setup produces 272 horsepower and 252 lb-ft of torque.
Range figures run from 372 miles on the dual-motor to 392 miles for the single-motor version—measured on the generous WLTP scale.
A performance package is also available. It includes recalibrated active dampers from ZF, high-performance Brembo brakes with Swedish gold calipers, and new 22-inch wheels wrapped in Pirelli P Zero performance tires.
